One of the best short stories Josh has written. If you’re a fan you know to expect a well written story that engrosses you. If you’re not a fan, buy this book so you can become one.

Enduring Instincts is the second book in S.J. Frost’s vampire series, Instincts, and is, in my opinion, even better than the first. While reading the first book, Natural Instincts, I was enamored with Ryunosuke’s character and couldn’t wait for this novel to come out and tell his story. I wasn’t sure how well the love described between him and Daniel would play out, considering Daniel wavered between being a spoiled [...]

Very deep and entangled love story. Not your usual fluff romance. If you like romance that is more life-like and less fluff, then this is the book for you. Couldn’t put it down!

I think people are underestimating the historical significance of this book. Three short weeks after the repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy a collection of people previously silenced are now speaking out under their real names. Their stories are truly humanizing. One man talks about his problems of dealing with his partner dieing, going to and from the hospital, making funeral arrangements, all the while going back into [...]

I’ve read and enjoyed all the books in this series and this one was no exception. Like the previous reviewer said, these characters were not symbiotic mates, but they were great together and provided another side of the story. The characters were hot and while the plot didn’t reveal as much as the previous book, I did get a look inside the Alpha’s head and how the humans are going [...]

The fourth in the “Little Boy” books is one of the strongest. I have always been fascinated by the self hatred that keeps otherwise perfectly sane men and women with those who abuse them. This is part one (I assume) of Jamie’s story. Once Brian finds him at the end of Book 3, we as readers are horrified to find out he is being used by a man who obviously [...]

This book was interesting. The world building is fascinating. I liked the first book better, though. This one just seemed a little too full of angst for my taste. Both main characters took turns hurting each other. I just wanted to yell “get a grip, already”. I liked the ending, though. It finished up the story in an unexpected but satisfying way.

#Spoilers in review# Not sure about this one. I liked certain aspects of the book (serial killer and the police are a favorite trope of mine), but other aspects felt tacked on and unrealistic, especially the part about the FBI not knowing that one of their own has a drug king-pin as a brother. The serial killer POV did not work for me. However the relationship between Tanner and Mac [...]
